While the whole nation rejoiced the big win, Anushka Sharma too came forward to congratulate him for the victory, as reported by BollywoodLife.com. Incidentally, this is the first time Anushka has approached Virat after the news of their alleged break-up flooded the social media, leaving their fans heartbroken. According to the rumous, differences erupted between the two as Virat wanted to settle down while Anushka, who is at the peak of her career, wasn’t ready for the same. Her new project ‘Sultan’ which required her to work even on Valentine’s Day despite Virat’s romantic plans, made things worse. Well, let’s hope the couple manages to resolve their differences! Virat Kohli is a man of many talents! While his cricketing mettle has earned him a million fans, his singing talents too are not hidden from us, thanks to his wonderful rendition of ‘Pani da rang’ in one of his interviews a while ago. And the cricketer was at it yet again at the Indian High Commission gathering where he took to the stage to perform a duet on the classic Lata Mangeshkar song, ‘Jo wada kiya.’ Virat shared the video, taken by Yuvraj Singh, on his Insta account saying, “Few moments back at the indian high commission gathering. Thanks @yuvisofficial for the video paji. I love this song.” While we are absolutely floored by Kohli’s performance, we couldn’t help but wonder if the song is a silent reminder to his now ex-flame, Anushka Sharma. More so because rumours of Virat trying to win back his lady love, post their alleged break-up have been coming our way ever so often.
