Sachin Tendulkar is still quickest Indian batsman to score 1000 runs in IPL. He took just 31 innings to reach the milestone. IPL 2022 is the fifteenth edition of IPL. Recently Devdutt Padikal reached the milestone of 1000 IPL runs in 35 innings. While doing so he went past Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni and Goutam Gambhir to become 3rd quickest to complete 1000 runs. His number of 35 innings to milestone equals Rishabh Pant. Devdutt Padikal and Rishabh Pant now jointly occupy 3rd position on the list of quickest to 1000 run milestone. Suresh Raina is second fastest to reach the milestone with 34 innings.
Biggest names of International cricket like Chris Gayle, Sangakkara, Jayawardene, Ricky Ponting, Steven Smith, David Warner, Jacques Kallis, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh etc were not able to break the record of Sachin Tendulkar.
