He has been at the captain of the side since inaugural season of IPL 8 except when CSK was suspended for 2 years in 2015. MS Dhoni has won four IPL titles for CSK as captain. He is only behind Rohit Sharma who has won five titles for Mumbai Indians. Under Dhoni CSK has been the top IPL team in the tournaments for all these years where they have often made it to play offs.
