Reportedly, Anushka Sharma is coming together with Aamir Khan in the remake of the Spanish film Campeones in Hindi. The director of this Hindi remake will be RS Prasanna who was also director of the superhit movie ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’.
Pre-production of the film is going on currently after Aamir Khan has agreed to do the film. Reportedly, Anushka Sharma has also given her nod for the film. The Movie is a emotional dramedy about a basketball team which include people with disabilities.
This Anushka Sharma Aamir Khan movie is the official remake of the Spanish movie Campeones. Campeones means Champions in English. This is a sports based comedy cum drama movie set around the game of basketball. Movie shows an arrogant coach, who gets a sentence to do community service which includes training of a team made up of the players with disabilities. The Spanish version of the movie stars Javier Gutierrez, Jose de Luna, Roberto Chinchilla, Gloria Ramos, Athenea Mata, Luisa Gavasa and also others. The movie which was turned out to be biggest hit of the year nationally was directed by Javier Fesser.
Hindi version of the movie will be based in Punjab showing Aamir playing the role of a uncompromising and arrogant small league basketball coach. He is forced to do community service where he has to coach a Special Olympics team. Players of the team have learning disabilities.
