Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor had topped the headlines again but this time it was about her refusing to divorce Sanajy Kapoor.  The actress’s divorce case news had been flooding on social media platforms since few days. According to leading media reports, Karisma had withdrawn her consent to the divorce petition. Apparently, her husband industrialist Sanjay Kapoor could not fulfill the financial terms and conditions that were mentioned in the consent terms.  The couple had filed for divorce petition on the grounds of mutual consent.

This divorce case started getting really messy. Karisma and Sanjay had tied knot on September 29, 2003. Karisma’s lawyer Kranti Sathe told that  the court directed both parties to file replies to each other’s applications. Sanjay had not met the consent terms. There were certain obligations assigned to each of them and he had not complied with them. As per the law, the case fell through. It was the other party that had to comply, not them!”

Karishma’s counsel had added that there were talks of revising the terms of compliance, and both parties kept going back and forth on them. After Sanjay’s father died, for a brief while, there was total shutdown of communication. He told that they could never come to terms with each other as they said one thing and Sanjay would say another.
